Something to do about the /nick command

I'm honestly finding it quite annoying seeing people imitating
staff with nicknames or having excessivly long ones. Is there
anything we can do? Cause I honestly don't want to lose the
command entirly, anyone know if there is a way to say limit the
amount of characters? Or just spamming the nicks? Cause can't do
much about certain names (Nick for example).
but is there anyone for us to limit the amount of characters in
a nickname? To avoid names like one yesterday called
"DerpDerpDerpDerpDerpDerpDerpDerpDerpDerp" and we did get the
person to change their nickname.
So is it possible to somehow limit or configure the nicks in a
way to pevent?

Maybe Make it so Rolemodels and Ranks Up Can only have the /nick
command? So they ask us to change it for them?

Give them a warning and if they don't comply, a temp ban. Few
hours might help the message sink it a bit.
Rules are rules. Follow them or pay the price. This may seem
harsh, but even with the ability to change people's nicknames,
which I believe I still have, some people are thick.
You are the authority figures, if they don't follow your
enforcement of the rules. Punish them.

There should be a command for staff that blocks a certain
command for the person they choose.
