Tree Feller Plugin: More harm than good?

Hey guys,
I've been thinking this for a while now, but would we not be
better off without the glitchy tree felling plugin. I don't
know exactly what it's called, but I'm pretty sure it's not
behaving how it should be. If no one knows what I'm talking
about then take a stroll through a jungle biome....
The weird decaying leaves are caused by the plugin, I'm pretty
sure, making jungle trees pointless to plant as the plugin can't
deal with them. The point of the plugin was to get rid of ugly
floating half trees wasn't it? Well surely the weird, stick like
2x2 jungle trees with no proper canopy are far worse than that?
If you agree, then it'd be great if you could say here, I'd love
to get Nick and Mikes attention as I'm normally not on at the
same time as them. Please can we get this thing gone for good!

Not to mention completely ruin the efforts someone does to make
a tree house, as well as complicate it cause you can't build
into the tree.
