Rollbacks

Well, there was a rollback or something like that, I lost a pic
with efficiency 4 and silk touch 1... I rejoined the game after
some connection reset or something, and I didn't have the picaxe
:/
What can be done?

I was there when it happened and I'm not sure what it
was...seems a few members had the same problem . i would check
chests first...a rollback coulda sent stuff back to where it was
before you grabbed it. And it may have rolled.back to a point
where you died

Yeah me neither but likely somethin supplier side. Im not in
game at the moment but I would suggest talkin to nxck or idw, as
long as arent claiming full inventories, they should he willing
to help

When shutting down or restarting a server, plug-in files, player
files, and map files are all saved.
When an error in the system reports back to the console, the
server "Crashes".
In a crash, the files are not given the opportunity to save, and
are then rolled back upon the last backup file.
These backup files happen every so often to manage lightweight
space, and in a separate database.
Unfortunately enough when B.C. does crash, it rarely reads back
to the console to restart on it's own.
This is also where excessive downtime plays in when it goes
UN-noticed.
I tried to make this easier to understand; hopefully everyone
gets it. :P
Long story short, to reimburse the community based on claim has
proven unsuccessful in the past.
Without an accurate logging to reflect these claims, you're only
left improving the past.
