Which is why, I believe that we should add a new rule to the
server, and that is no awnsering questions whose awnser is found
on the forum. That again, will make people check out the forum,
and thus be active.

In a nutshell, here's what I've put together based on all your
guys' feedback:
Default Rank, currently known as Member, will be referred to as
Guest.
From there, the active players in the Community's core (Forums),
will be randomly assigned Member.
- Currently known as Trusted.
It defines the term of a Member more-so than Trusted.
And with all that, comes the massively monitored activity.
It'd be hard to constantly demote and promote players if
inactivity becomes seen.
So more suggestions on how to remedy that would be nice, as
well.

Perhaps instead, the first rank of trusted being obviously the
current and only trusted rank. Then as you post more, and more,
and more, and more. And as you post more you get different ranks
of trusted. Which mainly come with bragging rights. And as
perhaps instead of getting complete demotion, you just get your
title's color changed.
Like the Trusted color is light blue.
So maybe level 2 trusted = A pinkish color
Level 3=Light green
Level 4=Light brown
And this continues so on and so on. So a character gets a title
color change, instead of whole new ranks.

Back in the golden days of SupraCraft and early BeardedCraft, we
were known to have many Ranks.
This was removed due to a number of reasons dependent on
striving forward.
I'd hate to re-visit adding more again; so colored names might
very well be the best ultimatum.
Cosmetic appeal is always incentive for players everywhere. :)

Agreed, and once the whole colored trusted ranking system is
learned, and figured out. People will want to try and out-do
each other, normally, for bragging rights. No special in-game
commands, or loot given. Just a colored title.
Easy, not overpowered.
But if a player doesn't post at all after posting on the
white-list thread. They should be demoted to normal member again
after say 5 days to a week

Great Idea, i suppose, not at over powered, For example, Staff
can be the HIGHEST Trusted level [as it kinda is as its the
border between Mod and Trusted] [BTW Nxck, I am a girl.. I WANT
MY NAME DARK PURPLE! :P ] But I do kind of think That the Staff
role model is kinda, weak, no one really listens to us much,
though there hasn't been a problem, well there was, but we,
staff, cant do much about it, just TRY to resolve it, yet
David/ID/or any other Admins/Mods just finish it in seconds,
Granted no one has really heard much about staff, but i feel its
weak. I'm not saying to add crazy stuff to Staff. And levels of
trusted can work, just if you do put kits in EVERY one of teh
level, wouldn't that be hard on Nxck? So I think, the level
UNDER Staff, should be the kits we have now and people who
ACTUALLY go on teh fourms.

I agree with pretty much everything said here except I don't
think this rule will ever truly fly. Some people just refuse to
let it go and will continue to ask people over and over again.

I actually started to explain in short detail any questions
whose answers are found on the forums here. Then finished it
off with, "for all the info check the forums." Seems to at
least satisfy their need for some kind of answer. It will
always happen, no matter how much candy and color names you give
people on the server. But some incentive will improve it vastly
I'm sure.
I'm just pumped to see how active the forums are right now. So
many new posts and topics. 8)

Yes gazkam, people will always be asking. But people ask me
constantly why my name is gray. And a few minutes later they ask
again.
So again, it probably won't be happening anytime soon. But after
a lot of changing and editing to the basics of the new rule
idea. I'm pretty sure it would work. ???

I like everything said so far and about the not posting for a
time the amount should be about 2 weeks cause some people kids
mainly have to house in real life and only one my have internet.
I am one of those teens and I can post only at my dad's house.
