Graveyard Mod

I think we need a nightly mod, I will tell you why, how, and who
in the following paragraphs.
Okay so I spend a lot of my time on this serve late at night
which the server population ranges from 9-1 mostly around 3-4
people. This might not be a lot, but as for me I do spend a lot
of time of the server doing many different things. Building
temples, making city, mining, and trying not to die. Many of
these things require an admin/mod to help out with. Such as
setting permissions, adjusting flags, or just general questions.
But it seems that every night there is no admin/mod. Sometimes
even the short times I can get on earlier there still is no
admin /mod. So I propose that we get someone that spends a lot
of time on at night (or morning for you England peps.) to
possiblly be granted mod powers. Now I know in the past we have
voted for people to get Mod granted to them. And I feel this
might not server the purpose intended.
As such most people would vote for the person they think would
be the best most, and who ever gets the most votes wins. The
problem with this is that most people pay during the day, and
most people don't know the night guys.
Now I suggest Rabid gets modded, I asked him and he said he'd be
down for it. He spends most of his time on late at night, he has
been a mod, admin, architecture, and other positions on other
servers. He is always friendly, helpful and makes the server so
much for fun when he is on.
So in summary, we need a nightly moderator, I think Rabid would
be a good choice, and if not him someone else that would be on
during a later time.

Thank you Meld :) I apprieciate this.
I have discussed it and we have a fairly regular following at
night. Same group every night. We see many other people come in
and out as well, but seeing as there is no staff on at night,
they leave fairly quickly.
I have spoken to some of the other members that play at night
and they all say they would recommend me. I have alot of
experience as a staff member as meld said. Ive helped everyone I
can and am on steady, midnight to 8am...yeah I have no life lol.
Now, I know if a mod position were to open and go to server wide
vote, I wouldnt stand a chance as I only get to play with the
north american day crowd on my day off, Mondays(which btw, Ive
clocked 18 hrs on a monday lol). But if the vote was held with
those who play at night, I believe I stand a chance, and the
graveyard would have a steady mod. Otherwise, days would have
yet another mod.

Rabid has my vote too. He has been helpful and enjoyable to
have around the server. Just the last few later nights I have
wished there was a mod or admin on.

Rabid gets my vote tooo, well i did do a book vote for him, but
still I think he'll be a get mod~
There are times (cuz im in england) when the afternoon comes and
no mods are there when i need it, so i really do hope that there
are more mods on different times so the sever is covered 24/7

Daz, no one here is saying our mods aren't active, just never
when we are on and awake...those wee hours when any sensable mod
is tucked in their beds lol. Hard to get stuff protected and
safe from greifers at 3am...
