       Ficus salicaria from a cutting

       This is my first ficus salicaria bonsai that I have worked on to
       bring up to an acceptable exhibition level. Ficus salicaria used
       to be known as ficus nerifolia.
       It started from a small cutting, one of many that I took from
       another ficus salicaria which was itself taken from a cutting
       taken from the mother tree that was brought over to Malta from
       America...many years ago.[attachimg=1]Exhibited during the
       Bonsai Aid exhibition that BCG-Malta organizes in December
       (14/12/2019). [attachimg=2] Some of the cuttings showing new
       growth on the way.
