Law has been criticizing Vogelbach at every turn since he was
drafted. he has so much personally invested in the notion that
Vogelbach can't play 1B that he's never going to drop it now,
even if Vogelbach plays in 10 All-Star games as a 1B. Law is
who he is - an OK scout with an ego as big as all outdoors.

I don't follow Law nearly as closely as some here, and I
acknowledge my own lack of personal knowledge in this area,
nevertheless, I'm inclined to agree with Deeg.

who would be foolish enough to conclude butcherhood on the basis
       or 29 games?
       [/quote]
Those who had already concluded that before the season started
and were looking for a justification for their conclusion?

Brett Jackson in LF and Dave Sappelt in CF for Iowa? What's
       that about, I wonder.

Conway out for the year with a stress fracture in his elbow.
Could have been a lot worse.
