Pending the rest of Tim Hudson's start today (in Coors, where he
has always been awful), the Cubs and Braves are tied for the
second best starter's ERA in baseball (2.97 ERA/41 ER in 124 1/3
IP). The Braves are 15-5 and have allowed 49 runs total (only 2
unearned). The Cubs are 6-13 (soon to be 6-14), and have
allowed 81 runs total (14 unearned).

Second guessing here...but in a situation where you just need
contact and Barney is on the bench, I don't think Soriano is the
right pinch hitter
Need a 2 out RISP hit from DeJesus. 0-5 with RISP today.

Definitely a poor spot to pinch hit Soriano. If you needed a
sac fly, it would be different.
