Sappelt doubles to start the 6th.
If I was a Reds fan, I'd be frustrated watching this game.
Villanueva throws nothing that looks like it should be hard for
major league hitters to hit. But obviously, he really knows
what he's doing out there.

He's also hitting .215 with a .690 OPS.

I think Rizzo needs a day off tomorrow. 0 for 6 last night, 0
for 3 with a brutal series in the 6th where he fails yet again
to get a runner home from third with 1 out (weak grounder,
Sappelt out at home on the contact play), and then gets picked
off first base.
Let him clear his head, and bring him back against the minor
league Marlins.

Rizzo had been able to scoop that.

83 pitches through 7 for Villanueva, bottom of the order coming
up in the 8th. 2-1 Cubs, Villanueva due up second in the
inning. I think you have to stick with him here as bad as the
bullpen has been.
