Sounds like the name of a former Whig Presidential candidate or
       something.

Soriano gets his first hit with a RISP this year (1-13) to tie
       the game.

Patrick Mooney in the booth, saying that Stewart will be back
soon and presumably starting. Meanwhile, Valbuena works another
full count and gets a hit. Hitting .244/.380/.439...don't
really know why you'd put Stewart in there very much as long as
       he's doing that.

Soriano's first misplay of the year puts the go ahead run at
second base with no outs in the top of the 5th.

And now Jackson walks Maldonado after getting up 0-2 in the
       count. Awful, he's a .174 hitter.
61 pitches so far, and Jackson has thrown 18 of them to
Maldonado. Don't really know why Jackson can't figure him out.

More sloppy play this inning puts the Brewers up. Runners at
2nd and 3rd, one out (both runners put on for free--error and
walk). And then Rizzo drops a grounder. He still gets the out
at first, but he may have had a chance at the runner at home if
       he fields it cleanly.
Have the Cubs successfully pitched around an error yet this
       year?

Now Castro makes an error, 3-1.
Really, this is ridiculous. This team did not come out of
spring training prepared to play real games. Reflects very
       poorly on the coaching staff.

Nice job by the "heart" of the Cubs order to go down quickly in
the top of the 6th after all three hitters made defensive
misplays that led to 2 unearned runs the previous inning.

I'm curious if I am the only one for whom Shierholtz appears to
be awfully conservative about charging fly balls into right
field. It's hard to be certain about that, but he's the one guy
in the OF who has seemed that way to me this year, and it's
happened three times that I've noticed (including this inning).

Jackson throws a cinch double play ball into centerfield. This
is laughable. Really, I've never seen a major league team play
such sloppy defense over so many games. You could put any high
school team out there on defense and they'd probably be better
       off.
