Yeah, and I suspect if Emery & Co. are talking to Trestman it's
for the HC job, not OC.

Trestman knows the NFL VERY well through his past OC jobs, and
after watching him for the past 5 years as HC, I can tell you is
ALWAYS ultra-prepared for every game. Great guy, too. His
speciality off-season is working with QB's. I would be it
surprised if he left Montreal for an OC position. I would hate
if my Als lost him, but I would be glad that he finally landed a
HC NFL position, even if it's with the Bears.

Based on being a QB.
Name one QB better than we have had in 30 years if you don't
think so.
You think Rex Grossman is a better QB based on your standards.
Or you think it is Kordell Stewart? I bet it's Kordell you
think is better than Cutler isn't it?

You based him on being the best we had in 30 years on simply
"being a QB"?

IF mediocre is what you like then by all means enjoy it.
Oh and McMahon took us to a title. Cutler hasn't.
Rex, as you mentioned, took us to the Super Bowl. Cutler
hasn't.
If I recall Kramer had the Bears record for TD's in one season.
Cutler hasn't.
And why would you say that about Kordell Stewart?

Bears HC search has now expanded to include Rick Dennison, the
OC from Houston.
Dennison has history with Cutler and Marshall from their days in
Denver.

Meanwhile, Bruce Arians is not on the sidelines today for the
Colts/Ravens game. Apparently he has been hospitalized with an
illness. Not sure if that will affect our interview schedule
with him or if we've even set one up yet. Too bad cause I was
hoping to see him in action today.
Oh yeah and we're interviewing Trestman tomorrow.
