I'm not real familiar with the CFL... but it occurs to me that
if run-and-gun QB play has been common up there for awhile, then
Trestman could have the inside track on not only how to
integrate some of that into the Bears offense, but how to stop
it on the other side of the ball.
Cutler will never be a Russell Wilson or a Colin Kaepernick, but
he does have decent speed and he can throw pretty well on the
move so I would expect our next OC to make that a key element of
       our new offense. It won't be a 100% "pistol' or a read-option
thing but I would hope the new OC can at least work some of
       those elements into it.
It also means that any of our current O-Linemen who can't get
out of their own way may not be much longer for this team.

Well just judging by blogs and fan boards, if Emery wants to get
everyone talking about the Bears he will hire Trestman. Getting
your HC from Canada? That would be an out-of-the box move the
likes of which hasn't been made by anyone in Halas Hall since
the days of... well... Papa Bear himself.
Yes there is significant risk with Trestman and there is
definitely a faction of the fan base that would not be on
       board... at least initially.
Sullivan, OTOH... would probably get a big "meh" from a lot of
the fan base, myself included. There's just not a lot of buzz
around the guy and the Bucs have been so blah that you have to
go back a little farther to his time with the Giants to really
appreciate his credentials. You also have to wonder why the
Bears are the ONLY team that's even given him an interview?
What does Emery see in the guy that everyone else is missing or
       choosing to ignore?
To me Trestman is the high-ceiling guy. The Bears under his
leadership could either be a gigantic success or a crashing
failure depending on what kind of players we can get in here and
if they buy in. Sullivan is the "safe" pick who after a couple
years would probably have the Bears looking a lot like the
SuperBowl Giants teams... well disciplined, physically and
mentally tough, good execution, and a fundamentally effective
(if not spectacular) offense with Cutler basically playing the
       role of Eli Manning.
Either of those guys IMO could get the Bears back to playoff
contention pretty quickly. Trestman's team would likely be more
fun to watch IF everything comes together.

Webb, Carimi and Garza come immediately to mind.

I figured Webb and Garza but not Carimi. The more I think about
it I can see your point.

What about LG? How many guys played that position for us last
season? Spencer, Rachal, E Williams, and Brown....

Yeah we've gotta get that LG position locked down this
       offseason.
Four guys throughout the course of the season and not one that I
felt played well enough to go forward with.

He was talking of starters. Statues. Brown likely will be kept,
the others dont figure to be Bears in 2013.

Well, Rachal is already gone. In actual fact, even if the
paperwork hasn't been done. And honestly, I think pretty much
any Bears O-Lineman that Emery didn't bring in should be a
       little nervous.
Which is pretty much every one except Jonathan Scott, James
Brown, and whoever Emery has stashed on the practice squad.
I'm not saying we're gonna have 5 new faces starting on the OL
when the 2013 season opens... more likely 2, maybe 3 (LG, one
of the tackle spots and maybe C). But I also expect the new HC
will come in with a clean slate of a depth chart and every
player is going to be "auditioning" for a spot on the roster,
much less a starting position. A lot of it too will depend on
what type of blocking scheme the new HC/OC favors.
That's how it should work, anyway.

Lance Louis' recovery is going to be critical.
He was on his way to becoming a stud RG before he got hurt.
AND, he's one of the few O-Lineman we currently have with the
combination of strength and mobility that he could plug into
either a man blocking scheme or a ZBS.
If he comes back 100% we're good to go at RG but if it's another
Carimi situation then things get a lot more complicated.
