So I dont have a problem with the HC also taking on the OC
duties, but to take on that AND the OL too...no way. Tice
couldnt handle OC and OL, not too hip on that. Now if he has
ideas on who to make OL coach...

Arians said his first interview will be with the Bears on
Sunday. Other than that 3 other teams asked for interviews to
his agent but he doesn't know the teams.

This is priceless... PFT reporting the Jets to interview Jerry
Angelo for GM.
A team no one wants any part of, and a GM with no other options.
Its a perfect match.

The Jets are a trainwreck about to happen... and that is before
adding Angelo's name in there.

FWIW John Clayton thinks Trestman is gonna wind up being Emery's
pick.
Other "insiders" say Emery was very impressed by Sullivan.
Absolutely no info or even speculation anywhere about what
happened with McCoy on Sunday.

Usually hush hush is the Bears way. Having nothing said or
talked about could be a good sign. Well at least there is hope

Article on Trestman:
HTML http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1478557-chicago-bears-why-marc-trestman-would-be-an-intriguing-hire-as-head-coach
Hiring this guy would certainly speak to the size of Emery's
cojones. A guy from the CFL with no NFL HC experience...
I'm not gonna discount the guy for being in the CFL because he
obviously has plenty of prior NFL experience. And honestly, the
way the NFL is going with rule changes it's looking more like
the CFL all the time so it could wind up being a genius move on
Emery's part.
My biggest concern is if Trestman would have the
contacts/"juice" necessary to put together an ace staff in
Chicago since he hasn't been moving in NFL circles. I guess I
don't mind taking a chance on Trestman but not sure I want a
bunch of other CFL position coaches and coordinators learning on
the job. Emery may wind up having to do the heavy lifting in
staff selection. I also note that Trestman doesn't exactly get
a ringing endorsement from Cutler but Cutler was very young when
they worked together and anyway, it's no so much about Cutler
liking the new HC as it is about the new HC making Cutler a
better player and the Bears a better team (with or without
Cutler). I suspect that if a HC can come in and help Cutler put
up nice stats, notch a lot of wins and fix the pass protection
he will become Cutler's BFF pretty quickly no matter what #6
might think of the guy coming in.
