Stewart didn't do any of that for the Bears. He was only here
for a season. So once again, why throw him in my face saying he
sets the standards for me as a past QB for the Bears?

But NOT for the Bears dude and not for the Steelers either for
that matter.
Keys said your guy was the best QB FOR THE BEARS in nearly 30
years.
I simply asked what was that based on. He gave a civil answer
but you want to have a cow because I dare question J-Cut or not
kiss his ass like a lot of folks do.

McMahon was the last decent QB that we've had. Since him, Cutler
is the best QB since then. Kramer had one decent year, but I
don't remember him having the arm that Cutler has. Cutler needs
a better O line, and he needs to get back to some basics. Then
the Bears need to keep looking for a younger guy to groom..

I agree with Chfanva's opinion. Have already said so. The Guy
has been running for his life since Vandy, it's natural for him
I guess. No matter what anyone says, there's no quit in him, if
he's out, he's hurt. RGIII and that coach showed what happens
if you do stay in hurt. You get hurt more.

It's interesting that a lot of people seem to be clamoring for
one team or another to hire Lovie as their DC... but there's a
lot less enthusiasm for giving him another shot at HC.
If he does get another HC job this year, are we still on the
hook for the last year of his Bears contract or how does that
all work?

I think we are on the hook for the difference of his new
paycheck vs what his Bears contract would have paid him. I am
not sure if there is a difference if he is HC or DC.

I would be surprised if his next job pays as much as we've been
paying him. Even if he gets another HC job but especially if he
has to settle for a DC gig.
IIRC he was one of the 4 or 5 top paid HCs in the league on the
contract he had with the Bears.
