In the Washington VS. Washington game what stood out on BOTH
       teams was the ... ROOKIES.
We didnt have any kind of performance at all like that from our
       rookies thruout the season.
       1.Didnt McClellin get like 1.5 sacks ?
2.Was jefferys non existent for most of the season?
What the fuuuck EXACTLY did our 2012 draft picks provide us?
3.Hardin an injury prone player ... WTF ??
       4.E Rod ... a FULLBACK. You waste a draft pick on a Fullback ??
       5.Isaiah Frey ... once again ... WTF ??
       6.Greg the McCoy WHO ??
Emery better get HIS SHIIT WIRED if he wants to be around long.

       Amen my brother.
And that bogus explanation on why he didn't try to help the
oline was pathetic. Let's see what explanation he'll have if
he botch the draft once again this year.

He was hired late and had to use Angelo's scouts. Plus he had
to draft for Lovie who wanted defense and special teams guys.
Apparently Lovie never got the memo that all the rules are set
up to favor the offense so that is where you need to spend your
       money and assets these days.

The problem is, once you get outside the first round this is not
considered a particularly deep draft at our position of primary
       need: OL.
So he's going to have to find some OL in the later rounds as
well as with a top pick, AND open up the checkbook in FA.
3 new starters on the OL for 2013 is my expectation and I've
said that all along. For sure at LT, and hopefully LG and C as
       well.

I'm hoping we get at least two new OL this offseason.

We need better players at LT and LG. Period, end of story.
Louis (assuming he's healthy) and Scott can get it done on the
right side, at least for one more year.
Center is the X factor. Personally I would like to see us do
better than Garza but if the resources aren't there we may be
stuck with him for another year (which I believe is the last
year of his contract). Two very good C's were on display this
past weekend with Chris Myers and Max Unger and the difference
between guys at that level and Garza is very noticeable.
Of the remaining guys (Ed Williams, Webb, Carimi, Chris Spencer,
James Brown), I see no more than 2 of those guys being on the
roster next year and they will stick as reserves only.
And then after all that we need to find an ace OL coach who can
get them up to speed in a hurry.

Thats the key right there, getting them up to speed. Maybe McCoy
has the solution for that too. Lets hope so.

Who knows, maybe Spencer can play C, which is what we brought
him in to do, before he got hurt. And of course then he was
never given the chance to play his natural position.

Spencer's an interesting situation. The one season he played G
for us instead of C it was because he had a broken hand. OK, I
       get that.
But then to never even put him in the mix at C once he was
       healed?
I seem to recall some rumblings at one point that Spencer is
none too bright and that the Bears coaches thought he couldn't
handle making the line calls. So that's why he never got any run
       at C.
He was a pretty high draft pick (especially for a C) so somebody
at one point decided he had talent. Maybe with the new coaches
he gets another chance and a fresh start.
