Well, Robb, they've always been with me, but if you are inclined
a different direction...far from me to judge.

When people talk about Chicago pizza, they are usually talking
about the deep dish pizza that was started at Uno's, and was
copied all around the city. I think it is very poor pizza. The
true Chicago pizza is from Aurelios, in Chicago Heights. A hand
       tossed regular pizza.
But none of the new chains have pizza as good as the individual
stores that sprung up in the 50s and 60s. Since then, Pizza Hut
       ruined pizza.
By the way, if anyone is ever in Evergreen Park, they still have
a store that opened up in 1956 and still has the same pizza. I
don't remember the name of the place, but it is right across
from Little Company of Mary Hospital. It is worth the trip.
If anyone is in Texas, Pizza Inn is probably the best chain
pizza you can get. Not great, but not assembly line pizza

Chicago pizza is a meal, its not a slice. And to me, it
signifies home so I miss it!

I like pizza in general. Good pizza from a good pizzeria is
hard to come by in po dunk, Iowa, though. I don't eat much
       pizza here. I like Giordano's.

Small towns can have great pizza. The best pizza I ever had was
in a local joint in Glasgow, Montana. A retired NCO who had
been stationed in Italy opened a place there after he retired.

We get the take-n-bakes from Costco every week - add extra
       pepperoni and mozzarella and bacon...
       Good stuff

My wife makes the crust and sauce from scratch. Best pizza
       anywhere.

Where I live, the "best" pizza is from Pizza Hut, according to
the chamber of commerce. Honestly, though, Pizza is kind of
like good barbacue for me. You can't find too much of it around
here (other than what I make myself), so it's a treat when i get
to eat at a good pizza joint.
