Given that it was preseason, there is only so much IMHO you can
take away from this game....
The operation (get play in, get guys lined up, snap ball) is
much better than last year at this point......
Not a ton of "bad" penalties. The false start by Ishmaiel's
relative notwithstanding....
Special teams are not short bus special but far from
special......
Defense was getting after it with abandon- good to see.....
The whole team seem locked in on the sidelines (even the
non-participants) and seemed to revel celebrating with guys who
are just fighting to make the team- there is locker room
chemistry there.....
Case Kenum is Bears version of a much (much MUCH) poorer Kirk
Cousins....
Good to see some hittin' out there :D
Go Bears.....

Ben said he didn't call the second half. The OC was calling the
plays.

Just watching the DVR now to see how Roush did. DJ Moore did ok
for Buffalo considering we got Roush as his replacement of the
second rounder.

Well well well. Its always a good day when the Bears win whether
preseason or the Superblow.
But when you top it off with the most hated getting beaten like
a drum it makes it enjoyable even
more. The steel curtain get my thanks.

Scattershooting from Saturday's PS game:
Expected more from DT VanDenBurg given all the RAS and camp
hype. He played a lot. I'm sure he learned a lot too.
The guy I liked on the O-line was #76 Vanilla Gorilla. I don't
know if he makes the 53 man but he looks like he's definitely
making the Practice squad.
If Bears keep 6 WRs there will be quite a battle between Miller
and Davis. Both have speed and Miller is super quick.
Alexander had a TD but also a couple drops. He can return kicks
too so he might make the PS.
The other guy to stand out was the journeyman DT Lynch - all
over the place. Obviously Jamree Kromah was the defensive star
of the game - let's see what happens in the next couple of games
as Bears could use another DE in the rotation besides Hardy.

YouTube has videos isolating Van Denberg and the other rookies.
He had a number of good plays and we’ll see how he develops.

I like the way Roush blocks- I think he is a better blocker than
Kmet. He keeps his feet moving and looks to be appearing to find
someone to hit....
