Too much hubris from most of the media on this- Papa Bear would
have gone to whoever was in his way to get a deal done in the
Illinois pols and kicked them in the balls.
Would he have moved to Indiana ? Probably. He was about the
BEARS first and the way he had to fight to keep the league alive
in the early days would not have gone away.....
The lesson is- stop electing incompetent folks to elected
office. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be changing
anytime soon. And the time to reap the whirlwind is upon
them......

Lots of banter about getting Maxx Crosby. Cowboys and other
teams could be bidding against the Bears.
Bears would be at a disadvantage vs the Cowboys. Cowboys have
pick 20 vs Bears' pick 25. The WR throw in from the Cowboys
would be Pickens who is 25 and just made the pro bowl. DJ Moore
is 29 coming off a statistical below average season for him.
What would the Bears have to throw in to beat out the Pokes?
And there's Hendrickson who is a free agent and requires no
compensation but is 31 and will demand a big contract.
I like our starting DEs but I think they can add one more to the
rotation, but the bigger need is inside. Maybe move Dayo
inside, add Shemar Turner to the rotation and draft a DT in R1
or R2.

Meyers from Denver wouldn't be bad, I think he's played both
inside and outside. I think his cost has been rising. Then
there's Chubb from Miami, he should come cheaper. I agree, that
if we could get more push up the middle, our ends would look
much better. Booker started playing much better towards the end
of last season. Poles screwed the pooch on the D line. The end
from the Colts was a waste, even before he got hurt.

BTW- I don't see any way that Crosby comes to the Bears, unless
he himself makes a push to make that happen..

I think I heard somewhere that if you look at the number of
plays between the two Max Crosby has significantly more snaps
then Hendrickson even though he is a little older. So should
that factor in instead of age. Wear and tear?

both be Bears.

aren’t getting the picks.
