They signed Jack Sanbirnback. He seemed to have a knack for
making plays but wasn’t very fast and would be a xploited the
longer he played. I always like to see Chicago area guys become
       Bears.

We haven’t restructured anyone yet. Shouldn’t be any reason for
       concern…

You also don't want to restructure some of the cuts you are
going to be making at the end of this year. You just gotta bite
       the bullett onm those.

Easy restructures are Thuney, J. Jackson and anyone else that
you see playing out their contract.
More difficult restructures are J. Johnson, M. Sweat....good
players that are frankly not earning the amount of money they
are making but you probably do not move on from them as they are
       above average.
Definitely not restructures Dayo O. and G. Jarrett; this are
cut candidates after this next season. No reason to push dead
       cap money.
You can extend C. Kmet another two years and restructure his
       contract (at least I would).
Depending on how the draft goes you could cut some players as
       well.

Johnson was good up until last season with the core surgery. I
think he deserves a bit of grace, let's see where he is this
coming season. But he and Gordon both need to stay on the field
       this season.

Is Luke Newman a candidate to backup Bradberry at center this
season? He played well in the preseason at guard.. Bears have
McFadden and possibly Amedgadjie as backup guards.
It would be nice to hold off on a center until day 3 and focus
on the d-line, safety and possibly WR in the first 3 rounds.

A lot of mock drafts have the Bears taking the Kansas center in
the second or third. With the need for center around the league
he may not be there in the third. But I think they can trade
back in the first and get a higher third or another late second.
They reportedly like this guy because he’s outstanding at zone
       blocking which the Bears use.
