Looks like Gardener signing with the Bills....
Ben, Allen & Co are going to definitely prove they can improve
players over time like they did last season (and to think it
only took like a decade+ of coaching regime futility for the
Bears to finally be able to do this).......
Bring on the Draft !

For some reason I was low key concerned that Quanny might pull
an Amos and head up north.
All those safeties got 1 year deals. Were they affordable?
Yes. Do DA and Harris think they are good enough to fit their
system. Obviously not. If Jaylon was droppable he would have
been long gone. The main key to this overhauled secondary is
that Gordon somehow someway HAS to be healthy and be in the
lineup every damn week.

I am not convinced we can get all the talent we obviously need

This is what makes the NFL, the greatest league in sports.
Every team has to release good players to make the cap work. No
Los Angeles Dodgers in the NFL, and that is the most fair to the
sport and to the fans.
It will be up to Poles and team to draft right, and for Ben and
the coaches to get them ready. Every team faces the same set of
circumstances.

Predraft, I am not too concerned about CB, somewhat concerned
about S, somewhat concerned about LB, somewhat concerned about
DT, major concerned about DE. On O, mildly concerned about WR,
mildly concerned about TE, somewhat concerned about LT. If we
go S/LB/DT/DE with our first 4 picks I wouldnt be too upset.
Then again Poles will probably do something stupid like
TE/RB/WR/P with the first 4 picks. Fingers crossed.

I would be very concerned. First thing, I dont see TE as a need.
I see a 3 techneke DT as the biggest need or safety. We also
badly need LB

Smythe was our blocking TE, he is now gone. We have noone to
fill that role. I think it is a need.

#3 TEs who serve as blocking TEs are a dime a dozen. And prices
