The #Bears’ deal for WR/KR Kalif Raymond, per me and @RapSheet:
One year, $5.1 million in a deal negotiated by his agent
@EnterSportsMgmt. After five seasons in Detroit, Raymond heads
to Chicago.

Rumor has it Pittsburgh is offering a third round for Bagent and
the Bears want a second or an additional day three pick. That’s
not a bad return for an undrafted player with only a handful of
starts. Pittsburgh has picks 76,85 and a compensatory pick. I
think it’s time to give him his opportunity

Khalif Raymond is kind of a splashy signing. Production isn't
really there but that could be because Detroit has so many
weapons on offense. But I'd say he is a significant upgrade
over Zaccheaus. Fewer drops (1), better YAC, better passer
rating. Zaccheaus had more catches more yardage and only 1 more
TD.
(And of course the Ben Johnson connection).
Raymond returns punts but had an off year compared to previous 4
or 5 seasons. He's not been used very much as a KR. I guess
Blackwell right now is that guy.
Could be room for another WR signing - Devin Duverneay might be
had for less than $2m/year.

Raymond didn’t seem to be very involved in their offense last
year, but in past years he often gave the Bears fits with his
quickness and agility. Difficult to cover.

guy not a starter.
