Watching some Bush highlights, the dude has closing speed unlike
any Bears linebacker.

They wanted more speed... appears they are getting it. Hope they
can get a consistent pass rush going (and still not sold on the
new center)....

I'd think that Byard is a goner. Bryant much younger and one of
the best FAs available. What I'm thinking is maybe Brisker is
back in play. I just don't think Poles likes going into the
draft with a huge hole at any position. And safety is still a
huge hole after getting much needed DT depth and\, two more
linebackers that could start day 1. Hyppolite and Sewell
provide depth.
Aside from safety I could see Poles possibly getting a DE but we
have 3 starters assuming Dayo is back. WR is also a possibility
but right now Jhadae Walker is the #3 but not established depth
with the losses of DJ and Zaccheus.
Almost forgot LT - could sign a FA - Braxton Jones?
The round 1 draft choice is open. A big DT still looks
promising. Safety depending. DE a possibility because its so
strong. And LT is the dark horse in R1.

Unbelievable. It's almost like the NFL is terminating their own
DEI program which I wouldn't expect the NFL to do.
Back to FA signings.
There are a bunch of safeties still out there. I'd expect them
to sign a starting SS and a backup or two. Spotrac has Brisker
assigned the largest expected salary of the remaining free agent
safeties. So it appears that both of 2025r safeties won't be
re-signed.
Depending on who they can sign may move drafting the safety
position into day 3. If that happens then maybe DT, DE, LT and
possibly corner could be the priority on day 1 and 2.
Look for a WR that can return punts. If they can bring back
Braxton Jones they can bring back Devin DuVernay.
Still can't get over losing those comp picks. Anyone find a
valid link detailing why the NFL ruled that way?

The NFL ruled Matt Ryan is the top football guy so no picks.
The NFL just fvcks the Bears as often as they can anytime they
can.
