I’m seeing a projected trade of DJ Moore and a first for Maxx
Crosby.
I think part of that is based on the analysis that if they
decide they need to get rid of Moores salary they probably can’t
get more than a fourth straight up. The salary is a problem but
Moore has been the go to receiver with the game on the line.
There should be a step up for Odunze and Burden and Crosby would
really transform the defense.
I would probably do it.

Press Taylor has been elevated to Offensive Coordinator. The
Bears have also added Eric Studesville as Running Backs Coach,
Will Lawing as Offensive Analyst and Isaiah Ford as Offensive
Quality Control Coach.
Taylor enters his second season with Chicago after joining the
Bears in 2025 as Pass Game Coordinator. Last season, Taylor
helped lead a passing attack that featured QB Caleb Williams
setting a franchise single-season record with 3,942 passing
yards in the regular season, adding a 361-yard passing
performance in the NFC Wild Card Round win over Green Bay, a
single-game club record in the postseason. Chicago's offense
finished the regular season with the fewest giveaways in the NFL
(11), and the second-most points scored off of takeaways in the
league (104). Over the final 10 weeks of the regular season,
Chicago amassed 109 points in the fourth quarter and OT, the
most by any team in the NFL. The Bears culminated the regular
season with 441 points scored, third-most in a single season in
franchise history.

I got a weird feeling Bears are in for some bad mojo if they get
rid of Moore- as much as some crap on him for body language and
appearing to not be always a full go, he has some of the most
clutch catches and plays for them. And he's a Packer killer.....

I've been talking about Crosby for a while. Yes, he instantly
can put the Bears in the Super Bowl conversation depending on
other moves that need to take place. I would love to see Maxx
Crosby in a Bears uniform, I just don't want to put or keep us
in cap hell. Regarding Moore, I would rather keep him in the
mix, but all signs keep pointing to him being traded.
The thing that's not mentioned much, is poles making some sh!t
moves on the D line. Starting with Odeyingbo, I like Grady
Jarrett, but he's not the answer, at least not so playing next
to Dexter. I think we have too many holes on D to go after
Crosby, although I'll admit I'll be dancing in the street if he
does come to Chicago. At least for now...

That’s what you pay for a franchise quarterback, not a 29 year
old pass rusher.

Most of the Bears DB's are not under contract any longer. So,
money has to be spent there. I don't see how they can afford to
go after any big names for the Dline. I see draft pcisk spent
there as well as some journeymen FA's.

That's what I'm getting at, we have too many holes and not
enough money. Not enough to make a big splash..
