Nice job by Pressly for his second save.
Gave up a fluke single with EV of 69 and xBA of .080 and closes
game out with a classic DP grounder hit at 71 EV. Will take that
every time.

PCA turned this 50-50 probability out (45%actually) into a
routine out. Watch the amazingly quick jump as soon as ball is
hit. Routine for him.

Also on PCA's defense, I've been really impressed with his
throwing, at 3 levels. 1st, his arm strength is good. Maybe
not Canario or Andre Dawson or Morel, but it's good. 2nd, and
more impressive, he's been accurate, even when throwing off the
run, with imperfect alignments or momentum going in wrong
direction. 3rd, his preparation/footwork and body-balance
preparation to enable him to get strong throws off really
quickly is most impressive.
His "pop time" is terrific because of the preparation he's
making before the ball hits his glove. I recall Andrew Dawson
having a rocket, but don't recall his pop time being that good
because of crow-hopping and setup. PCA seems to be
extraordinary in optimizing all of that.

When they pan around that Sacramento ballpark, it looks like
they could add several thousand more seats if they had to. For
the AAA team there's no need, but if they ever wanted a MLB
squad...
Lots of people in Vegas would prefer an expansion team.

Hoerner takes walk leading off 2nd, let's PCA whiff, but then
steals 2nd and 3rd; Shaw walks, nice patience on some
off-the-outside-edge pitches, and he was gifted ball 4 that was
clearly a strike. Hoerner scores on an 0-2 sac fly by Carson
Kelly. Really nice to create a run without a hit, and for Kelly
to get the run home after getting down in the count.

Happ singles Shaw to 3rd, then Suzuki blasts the first pitch WAY
out. 4-0 Cubs! Wow.
