Puts money in Ricketts' pocket, and that's the only priority
       with this club.

Another HR and CS for Ballesteros in the 5-1 loss.

Hoerner played, 2nd. Little pitched. Nice that Little is far
enough along to pitch in a game, and he went beyond just a
       single inning.

To quote the great Jim DeShaies, Brasier had a spot of bother
       that half inning…

Cubs are playing seriously jet lagged. Hope the upgraded digs
for the next Trump fundraiser are worth that trip.
Workman did hit another HR, OPS now over 1.100. And he got a
free vacation to Japan at least.

Steele allows a two-out single in the bottom of the first to
give Arizona a 1-0 lead, but the Cubs come right back with two
walks, a timely stolen base from PCA, a groundout, and then hits
from Happ and Tucker to give the Cubs a 3-1 lead! Suzuki
strikes out to end the scoring, unfortunately.

Eugenio Suarez (it feels like he always plays well against us)
hits a homer to get a run back, but Steele recovers to get the
next three men out. Cubs lead 3-2, going to the third.
I don't care about gambling, but it looks like all the betting
money is on Arizona and everybody thinks 9 runs or more will be
scored. Certainly looks like it given how the first two innings
       have gone.

It's early but Shaw doesn't look ready. Bat is slow and he's
opening up his front side on every swing.

Wow, 3 gift runs on two defensive blunders (neither an official
       error) by the D-Backs.
