Too early to draw any conclusions, but I wonder if this is a
hint that Counsell intends to bat Swanson between Happ and
Tucker.

If it does, I hope that it doesn't also mean that he plans to
bat PCA at cleanup.

Watched some innings of early games. Not sure how anything will
progress, nor about what the technology availability is at
cactus league stadiums.
But am I crazy, or were they posting neither velocities nor the
computer-generated strike zones on the TV broadcasts? Did I
miss them? Is that non-representative?
Or with the automated strike-zone thing, would that preclude TV
from showing the strike zone boundaries? If so, I hate that. I
loved seeing the boundaries. Bummer as a fan if losing that is
a consequence of the challenge system.
And velocity, does Sloan just not have that, or Marquee, or
something?

I don't think that they can do the ball/strike challenges at
Sloan park. I don't know about the little square pitch locator.

Cubs win.

-Starting pitchers Taillon and Poteet allowed the two runs and 4
hits.
-5 relief pitchers (Brasier, Merryweather, Hodge, Morgan,
Bickford) 5 no-hit innings, 6K/1BB between them. Would be so
fun to have a good bullpen.
