I hope they carry only five wide receivers this year.

Beyond what's shown in that depth chart, there will be two more
       defensive linemen.
       Pick your two favorites:
       Jonathan Ford
       Daniel Hardy
       Zacch Pickens
       Dominique Robinson
Hardy has an important role on special teams, so I think he's
got a leg up on the other three.

I'll trust Johnson and Rousher to make the call, but I really do
hope that Wright stays at RT. I don't believe the positivity
that Poles, Johnson, and Rousher placed on Kiran and Braxton was
just faint praise. Let Kiran, Ozzy, and Braxton when he gets
healthy battle it out. Looking forward to seeing where Oz
       practices during rookie minis.

I read somewhere the only reason Trapillo was moved to RT was
because the team had a true LT that could not handle another
position so they moved him over. He can play LT it appears and
is a worst a swing tackle. Let's see what Roushar brings to the
table before we start worrying about Wright.....

After watching TTNL with Courtney and knowing Poles' modus
operandi, I am leaning towards being open to a Hendrickson trade
for no higher than a 2nd. Baseline is 3/120 40 AAV. He comes
off the books along with a lot of the other 3 year contracted
vets by the time Caleb cashes in. Hopefully Poles and Johnson
succeed in building up next in line depth to take over for them.
Go all in and take advantage of the QB rookie deal now.

       @AaronLemingNFL
#Bears GM Ryan Poles is on ESPN 1000 right now. He made it sound
like they'll start Ozzy Trapilo off at LT & go from there. He
said they would like to have things stable by the time they hit
training camp, so they aren't shuffling guys around in camp.
When asked about a potential extension for Joe Thuney, GM Ryan
Poles said he's hoping to have something done soon. He noted
that he has good relationships with both Thuney & his agent
       @MikeMcCartney7
Poles was asked about bringing in a RB from the outside. He
didn't rule it out but he wants the current group in with the
new coaching staff & get their input first. Doesn't sound like
anything is close with Chubb, etc. Might be a move that is made
in June/July. Poles did say they have a "short list" of
potential outside candidates. I'm sure that's normal for almost
each spot on the roster. Sounds like they'll take their time w/
it. No reason to rush it.
As a more minor note: Poles confirmed the UDFA signings of both
safeties Major Burns (LSU) & Tysheem Johnson (Oregon). Noted
they had no late round safety lined up with their board. He did
acknowledge both Brisker & Byard being FAs in 2026 & the
       uncertainty that causes. #Bears
It sounded like the #Bears plan on having guys like Gervon
Dexter & Shemar Turner (specifically asked about) play *some*
off the edge. Poles said he’ll lean on Dennis Allen to figure
out how that’s going to work. Didn’t say 1 way or the other if
they are still in the DE market.
The vibe I got from Ryan Poles is that he has A LOT of trust in
this coaching staff & will lean on their evaluations of current
players when it comes to making additional moves. Specifically
mentioned Roschon Johnson as being misused last year.
Last real note: Between what they said in the post-draft presser
& what Poles said today, they seem extremely high on Ozzy
Trapilo. I’d fully expect him to get a real shot to win a
starting job. Love that they are starting him at LT. Smartest
       approach.

Trapillo was playing LT until moved because of personnel on his
team- not because he was bad at it. We should see him a LOT in
Presason at LT- if not the coaching staff is not doing their
jobs. It really would be nice for a change for once this last 20
years to start the same 5 competent guys on the line most of the
year- instead of the mis-matched island of lost toys the fools
trotted out under bad coaching in all that time.....

Ozzy should show up in Seth Freakin Rollins corner at the next
       Wrestlemania…
