Yeah Amegadjie missed all of training camp and was only
activated maybe a couple of weeks before they played him.
Adding the fact he’s from Yale so never played a good pass
rusher, yeah criminal is the right word.

Cunningham made it through his 2nd interview.
"If Cunningham departs for a GM job, the Bears will get two
third-round picks over the next two NFL drafts in 2025 and
       2026."

"In a new mock draft from NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah, the Bears
prioritize protecting quarterback Caleb Williams with the
selection of Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. with the
10th overall pick. Banks is the second offensive lineman off the
board after the New England Patriots selected LSU's Will
       Campbell at fourth overall."

Playing in 42 games across his three years at Texas , Kelvin
Banks allowed 3 sacks his entire time at LEFT TACKLE.
We should pass on this fuuckin LOSER.
We need a backup punter with the first round pick.

Field Yates has got me interested in Donovan Jackson from Ohio
State. All American at left guard two years ago and last year
when Simmons hurt his knee early Jackson played left tackle most
of the season. He played well and there but is not regarded as
a top left tackle, but Yates thinks he can play it in the NFL.
Hard to say how long he’ll last but if they trade down from ten
he looks like a solid lineman.

We should clean up in round two with a DE and another OL.

We should fill needs in FA and draft BPA within reason.

That sounds good but its a myth. Nobody really does that.
Let's say Deion Sanders kid is there at 10 and is the highest
rated player on the board. Do the Bears take him?
The issue with the Bears they have so many holes they could
draft a number of positions in R1 and not reach: DT, G, OT, DE
for sure. Probably not QB, center, safety, ILB, CB, WR, TE
Some say HB but unless that guy is a game breaker - that
       position can be taken later.
OK, my bad you said within reason. BPA as long as he's a
       lineman.

Going to be hard to fill lineman in FA. The SB showed the
importance of a excellent line and now teams are willing to pony
up big cash to keep their linemen. They can fill spots with
average lineman, sure, but is that what makes a team great??
They're going to have to build through the draft and fill holes
       through FA....
