Considering top guards are making top $$ now, I would say no,
it’s not…

Sorry but I would prefer an upgrade at LT over Braxton Jones.

If Campbell and Banks are gone, is 10 too high for Booker?

It depends, but except for the golden domer who went to the
Colts, a guard that high is a reach. However, we do need guards.
Personally, we should look at Edge rusher @ 10 if the best 2 OTs
are gone. The LSU kid is a stud

I like playing Jones at LT and drafting a tackle to play next to
him for a year. Ideally we could pick up this player if
Campbell doesn't drop with a trade down. Next year if Jones
isn't the answer you slide the guard to LT and you draft a
guard.
Drafting a guard at 10 or with a traded down first rounder would
have to be a very special player. Just because we have a hole
at guard (or maybe 2 holes) doesn't mean we have to drop a first
rounder at the position. You can find a guard in R2 with one of
the 2 picks or possibly in R3 plus there's free agency. Tevin
Jenkins is still not out of the question but would have to
contingent on a special contract.
If O-line isn't lining up in R1 then you got for the best pass
rusher. Its difficult to find quality pass rushers in free
agency and outside the first round.

I’ve seen media talking to a few GM’s saying this draft has a
top 6-8 then the next 20 or so are pretty even. Don’t be
surprised if they trade down.
The idea of most of the top picks should be used on the OL is
fine, but start 3-4 rookies would be a disaster. They need FA .
Kyle Long thinks the main target should be center Greg Dahlman
from Atlanta because center is the most important po

Poles can't be exactly thrilled by this, but Eddie George did
mention that the Bears are doing their homework on the Ohio
State RBs. And I'm hearing rumors that Kaleb Johnson is on
their radar. So it is sounding like RB will be picked up
possibly on Day 2.

I'd like to see the Bears get a center so when is 3rd or 4th
down and less than 1 yard they can sneak Caleb Williams. Bears
had no faith in their center (and guards) to run that play.

I saw a mock today that had us taking Booker at #10, and I admit
that I am warming to the idea.
