I’d take him over Sanders and Ward any day.

       Give up on Odunze?
He had a very good rookie year.
       [/quote]
Malik Nabors, Giants picked 6th- 109 rec., 1204 yds.
Brian Thomas Jr, Jags picked 23rd- 87 rec., 1282 yds.
Rome Odunze, Chicago picked 9th- 54 rec., 734 yds.
Now there are other factors that come into play, but a big one
is, how often does the receiver get open. Another is, who are
the other receivers, (just to name a couple). I've heard people
grumbling about Odunze, I thought he had a decent season, not
good. Although, how do you judge anyone that played on such a
poorly coached team... Plus, my post was about the quality of
players we have been drafting, wasn't meant to b!tch about
       Odunze..

Who were the other two receivers on those teams? Let's face it.
Rome was not drafted to be #1 or #2 this last year. How often
does it take a WR a few years to come into themselves? This is
       the long game.
Caleb will have a better career than Daniels in the end. The
long game is what is going to matter. Washington had RGIII
going to the HOF after his rookie year as well.

I know there was bitching about Keenan Allen on this board, I
hope like he11 both he and Moore return next season. Odunze will
benefit from a real coaching staff. Allen is at the end of his
career, but he can be a clutch receiver (if he doesn't drop the
       ball).

Daniels has set the bar pretty dang high in his first year
already. Playing in the Conference Championship game. How long
before Caleb does that? Probably years if that...

Allen will not be back unless he comes back cheap. I doubt he
       is willing to do that.

I tend to agree. Allen has provided a list of teams he could
play for in 2025 (LA teams and the Bears I think). Or does he
just go to a team that gives him the best deal? Or maybe he
wants to go to a contender?
Allen has familiarty with Caleb and the other WRs but the entire
Bears coaching staff is gone. However, the hiring of Ben
Johnson might help him combing back to Chicago.

Interesting that most mock drafts have us staying focused at DE
and OL but a few toss in a RB.

That is because Swift was a Lion under Johnson and he let him
walk so they could get Montgomery. Like most teams he likes a
       speedster and a bruiser.
