If you have no connection with Chicago and have the choice of
living in Chicago, LA, or NY, what are your likely preferences?

       Particularly if you're super wealthy.

Morosi mentions the Cubs as a team that likes Kyle Tucker:

That's great that they like him, but will they make any effort
       to get him?

It's hard to see them doing it. I'd assume an extension for him
would probably be something in the Trea Turner range. They
should obviously be willing to pay that (IMO), but there's no
sign they'd even consider it. So I kind of doubt Hoyer is going
to be willing to part with the prospects for one year of Tucker.

Naive question, but why does Houston want to trade Tucker?
Houston has generated playoff revenue every season since 2016.
As a team that has won so much, Houston should have fan
attendance that is supposed to follow from winning teams.
Houston is next behind Chicago in metro population, and is the
only mlb team in the Houston metro. Why doesn't Houston extend
       him themselves?

It sounds like they’re only willing to extend one of Tucker or
Bregman, and they prefer to bring back Bregman. So I think
Tucker’s availability depends completely on whether or not
       they’re able to re-sign Bregman.
Even if they do bring back Bregman, they still might hold on to
him. I think this is more of a thing where they’ll trade Tucker
if they get an offer they really like, but they’re more likely
to hold on to him unless they end up paying more than expected
       for Bregman.

A Tucker extension is going to be at least 50% more than a
Bregman extension. It may wind up being closer to 2x. It's
just not an area where the Astros operate.

I read that the Tucker price has went up significantly with
       Soto's deal.
