Some trends I saw last night that haunted us last season on D.
They would have a decent 1st and 2nd down to get them into 3rd
and long then give up a big 10-15 yard play for first down.
They did that a lot last year it seemed like.

       The good:
No one hurt. Bears get a "win"....
       The bad:
Dante Pettis. The Bears already have guy who can do what he did
in Velus Jones who is at least fast.
Wet toilet paper coverage on D for the "starters"...
       The ugly:
Would've like to have seen at least 3 handoffs for Caleb (if
nothing else would have stoked the crowd). Seemed a LOT of talk
about the Texans and less about the Bears. That might have
changed if they had at least started Caleb. And what is it with
the Bears and HoF game ? Last time they were scheduled in it,
the game was canceled. At least this time they got to the 3rd
       quarter before that happened...

I see absolutely no benefit of having Caleb in there even for a
few handoffs. The risk outweighs any reward that would have
come from that. Bad things can even happen if you are just
handing the ball off. Fumbled snap and he dives in to save it
and gets hurt. Missed handoff (happened to Tex) and he gets
sacked and gets hurt. Just don't need any of those risks when
you still have 3 more preseason games to work on.

Rypien was the guy I heard was to be Williams's backup. He
       played well, Bagent didnt.
The punt flopper should get a pink slip. We dont need that.

Can we possibly sign his cousin, Angela, to be a practice squad
       QB?

Actually I thought the Bears got a lot more props than usual
from BuckAikman. My TV was drowning in Bears kool-aid when they
interviewed with orange tied Kev and a Slimmed down Poles before
       they called it off.
Sure Kevin, you can wax poetic about the zero parking beautiful
museum campus and pristine lake all you want. But we all know
where the damn shovels will end up at.

I thought it was funny when they tried to switch over to Poles
and ask him a direct question and Warren went ahead and answered
it without knowing it was Poles' question to answer.

The problem with listening to online local Chicago broadcast is
that it is so out of time (usually pretty far behind) what I am
seeing on tv where I am at :( I also have an issue when Online
chatting some friends of mine who are either 30 seconds ahead or
       30 seconds behind :D

Does your tv have a dvr?
If so you can pause the game for about 10 seconds so the play on
the tv is in sync with the radio broadcast. I did that last
night just took a few minutes.
