I don't understand. Our bad guys are better than their bad
guys.
Isn't it exciting to be the best of the worst?

I just watched to see if Matt Nagy really does have an NFL job.

So it was Borom who went down. I somehow thought 75 was Wright's
number.

I know it was the bottom of the roster and guys who wont make
the team, but I was giddy at the way they were actually playing.
O seemed competent, when is the last time we said that? And on
D they were swarming and opportunistic. I am all in on the
Koolaide, and cant wait for the real games to start.

Thoughts:
1. The team looks focused. They came out and did their work.
2. D looked pretty good and tackling was consistently good until
the 2nd half. The center of the Dline is weak with the backups,
and I have a feeling they could have run for TDs up the middle
all night if they wanted to. As a former coach once said
"Grabbing is not tackling"....
3. O looked pretty good. Bagent definitely #2 ("Its the lettuce,
man !" :D). Would probably rather see Reed on the PS- although
he has to work on his scrambling ability from a safety
perspective- exposing your back to potential blows coming from
the opposite direction is not a way to walk very well after your
career is over.....
4. ST coverage was bad- not sure if they were trying things
(probably). Santos good. And the other punter did well. Side
note: an Australian friend of mine (very light American Football
fan) sent me a text when he was out there. "Either Taylor sunned
himself too much this week or that's the other guy" (now imagine
this with an Australian accent from a 5'4" part aborigine makes
it even funnier !) I explained to him that the announcing crew
(Ari and Green) were the KC team announcing crew blathering over
something and rarely covered things that the Bears were doing.
That is essentially preseason....
5. Some of the cuts will be hard (for a change), but there are a
few obvious ones- Homer and that 36 dude for sure. I noticed
Tyler Scott was playing a LOT (not just on offense- he was doing
kick returns and kick coverage as well). Still, its a good
situation to have- usually its pretty easy to see whom is going
to cut since the talent pool usually went from middling to very
shallow. This team DOES have more talent that I think I've seen
in awhile. Now its time to see that translate to wins.....

Booker was in the backfield nearly every play against the
backups.
Can he do anything against starters?

Even the secondary players we cut will be starters on other
teams.
We are that stacked at that position.
All Goff , Love and Darnold have to do is throw the ball ...
we'll take it from there. ;)

Titans roster looks pretty damn solid. Bears will be challenged
running the ball. Wait till you see that monster in the middle
from Texas T'Vondre Sweat. I wonder if the Titans got him to
lose some of his 366 lbs. And the guy next to him isn't too
shabby either Simmons.
Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard and DeAndre Hopkins - not too
shabby. I don't know if Hopkins is good to go.
Really, the only possible weakness I see on that team is their
QB - Levis.

My $1500 Samsung TV crapped out tonight after only 2.5 years, so
I get to go buy a new TV in the AM before the games start…
Bought it at Best Buy instead of Costco, so I had shit for
warranty…but 2.5 years sucks.
