[Second-rounder] Mathis, 20, hit .335 with 14 home runs and 57
RBI for the Cougars. “He’s just got a natural swing plane that
lends itself to consistently hitting the ball in the air,”
Kantrovitz said. “And then with his with his size and strength,
he ends up putting a pretty good charge into it. “So I’d say a
combination of contact, power and doing that in the air with a
pretty symmetrical spray distribution, too.”

Cruz is young, 17 till late August. Callis Pipeline didn't have
him on his top-250, Perfect-game had him at 323. Perfect Game
listed him at 6'1", mlb draft lists at 6'2", so may perhaps
still have been growing this last year.
Born in the Dominican, not sure how long he's been in the US.
I wonder what his price will be? Often 3rd-round HS pick would
be super-slots. But obviously Kantro always has price
estimates. Maybe a young kid who hasn't been seeing his name on
top-100 lists since last draft hasn't really been assuming he's
a million-dollar star. So perhaps going this high, and getting
slot or variably sub-slot, will be a dream come true for him?

Southisene is a Tennessee commit. That’s a shame.

Perfect Game has a cool video with Southisene and his family.
Seems like a driven kid.
