I know you're not supposed to draft for need, just for talent.
But isn't Christian Moore yet another 2B-defense guy? If we've
already got Shaw and Triantos as 2B-only prospects, would it be
super wise to add another 2B-only guy?

       Trade fodder? Blah.

       He’s bat-first, and probably a LFer…

Law had Griffin falling to 12. I’d love for him to fall a few
       more spots.

Moore's defense at 2nd isnt ideal.
He's an OFer in professional baseball.

Keith Law agrees with Dusty and says Christian Moore is “a
below-average defender at second and is most likely to end up in
       left field.”

Of course none of us have any clue who would be the most astute
round 1 pick for the Cubs.
But, for me, not too excited about drafting a college guy who
projects at a OF corner. Even the catcher Moore and 3B Cam Smith
and the 2B Christian Moore are projected by some as having to
       move to a corner.
Maybe a corner guy is the best pick because of the bat, I don’t
know. And trust Cubs to make a good pick.
Still, seems like the pitcher Yesavage—if still on the board at
#14—seems to project like a (righty) version of Jordan Wicks.
These types of guys tend to have a useful MLB career compared to
other picks. So, could see that.
Other interesting guy more recently mentioned is the Florida
high school shortstop Kellon Lindsey. Just know what I read
about him but upside legit SS with a hit tool, nice! Those SS
guys are always the rage internationally at age 16, so why not a
age 18 guy here with upside. Apparently would be underslot sign
at #14, so could get overslot guy later.
If Cubs, instead, go with a LFer who can hit, fine with that
too. Just make a good pick.

Final mocks are coming in. There is some uncertainty as to who
       the Guardians are taking.
       Callis: Tibbs
       Mayo: Yasavage
       Law: Tibbs
Callis and Mayo have Yasavage and C. Moore going before the Cubs
pick. Law mentions that M. Moore would be a significant
underslot if they went that way.
