That’s TWO Div. 1 gold glove guys for Cubs.

Not sure anybody overslot so far and likely an underslot or
two—and more coming.
So, Cubs might be able to offer $1M+ to some HS guy on the fence
about signing. Perhaps a Day 3 guy.

Is there a limit on how much a day three pick can get?

No limit.
But anything above $150,000 counts against your bonus pool. So,
need to have pool money available if overslot a player(s)..

Almost every guy we’ve drafted is underslot on paper. What are
they saving their powder for?

It sure seems like they went into this draft with a philosophy:
draft dudes that, if they don't work out for the Cubs, could be
linebackers for the Bears, and I kinda like it.
