Well, Morel dropped a liner. Those runs should not have all been
earned. Morel really has no position.

Morel also muffed a playable grounder later in the inning.
Still early with this experiment..
With Caissie perhaps an appealing DH option before too long, it
would really help if Morel could get most of his ABs at 3B
rather than DH.

Cubs lead 5-2 bottom 4.
Morel has a HR.
DH is a position these days and if thats what he is then thats
as important as the other 9.

Wicks has 19 swing-and-misses in 4 innings.
Spectacular.
Just getting killed by poor Cubs defense, even Swanson—and
Bellinger taking a poor route on Langford’s triple.

With the score 5-5 in the ninth with oneout against LeClerc, the
Cubs load the bases but LeClerc gets Mastrobuoni to hit into a
fielder's choice for the second out. Then Suzuki singles in
two! Bellinger with another hit! It's 9-5!

Suzuki's hit was great, but the Cubs already led on Happ's rbi
walk.

I missed the bases-loaded walk that brought Hoerner in with the
go-ahead run.
Great to see that ninth-inning rally, and the team's first win
of the year!
