Yeah, Neris has been bad. I didn't watch today's inning, but
previous one his fastball was slow and showed no life.

Hope for the best. The Cubs will cut him and eat his salary
before letting him get enough appearances to trigger his 2025
option. The big velocity drop last season was a pretty big red
flag.

So is tonight's game subject to blackout rules on MLB.com, given
ESPN rights to the game?
If so, how are folks who don't have cable watching tonight?

i'm out here at the very northwestern tip of the country...
don't konw that there's a sports bar, let alone one that would
be focused on chicago sports,

Yeah, up here in the far northwest corner of WA, there aren't a
ton of sports bars, let alone Chicago-themed ones. More likely
to run into the local herd of elk than a Chicago sports
broadcast.
