More I learn about Caleb Williams the more excited I am
becoming. Really did not follow him in college. NFL personnel
all seem to think he is going to be special. His goals are
       elite level.
I was wanting a defensive pick at #9, but now I really think we
should go Oline and protect this kid or another WR to give him
       plenty of weapons.
I personally feel like the first 80-90 picks of this draft is
strong and it really drops off after that. We should trade some
future draft capital to build the team this year. We really
need to come away with DE and DT help from this draft. I think
we need to have another top 90 pick.

difficult. Heck I thought Badget looked like a better QB last
       year than Fields.

Bagent did some things better than Fields. He made quicker
decisions and got rid of the ball quicker. And because of that
was sacked much less frequently. But that's about it.
Bagent's strength was in completing short/intermediate passes.
His yards per pass play was almost a full yard less than Fields
(6 to 7), even though his passing completion was higher (65.7%
       to 61%).
Biggest evidence of this was DJ Moore's poor results in 4 Bagent
starts: 5/58, 3/44, 4/55 and 8/54 and NO TDs in any of these
       games.
No disrespect to Bagent. Undrafted FAs don't get the chance to
perform like he did and he did split his 4 games. But Fields
was the better QB even with all his issues.
I haven't seen Rypien play and can't say I'm expecting much, but
I think Bagent will be the #2 QB.

If Alt is there at 9 I think the Bears will probably take him,
but he won't be. If the Bears really want a LT to replace
Jones, they can probably trade down a bit and get one.
I think Odunze will be the BPA at 9. I think Turner is the
defensive BPA if he's there at 9. I think Verse would be an
excellent choice for the Bears if they could get him with a
       slgiht trade down from 9.
Right now I'm thinking Verse or quite possibly Murphy might be
the guys Poles targets in a trade down.
We're all just guessing - there are so many ways this could go.
Thursday is going to be fun.

And watch out for Latu. If the Bears trade down, Latu or
Murphy. I would nod to Latu.
One player I want to avoid is Chop Robinson. Ridiculous combine
and measurables, that didn't match on field production.

Keep in mind, you're comparing a 3rd year QB to a rookie...
Bagent has a lot to prove. The little I saw, showed he should
get that chance to prove himself, and that may be nothing more
than to be the number 2. We all know how important the backup
is... Think back to some of the sh!t that the Bears have put on
the field.. I hope for our sake that Williams is all that and a
       bag a chips..

I still hear faint rumblings here and there re: the Bears and
       Ryan Tannehill..
I can see that from the viewpoint of wanting a veteran presence
for Williams to go to and learn from…depending on the cost, of
       course.

I'm not a skeptic as much as I've seen too many sure thing QB's
come into this league and amount to not much. Add in the Bears
record with QB's. The thing that seems to be different this time
is the front office. They are assembling what looks to be some
good players that will surround Williams. One thing is for
certain, Chicago is hungry for a contender, if Williams comes in
and lights it up he will own the town..

The fact that in HS he had his own apartment, lived by himself,
has had a nutritionist, and is all about winning, I dont
remember ever hearing a qb who was so singularly focused.
