Well, thats a huge 690 point gap going from 9 to 28, which means
Buffalo's first in 2025 plus maybe their 2nd this year. Again,
I have no idea what the value is of a Buffalo first rounder in
2025 would be.
At 28 you're getting into Round 1 2nd tier players. Maybe edges
like Latu/Robinson might be there. Maybe one of the Texas
receivers: Mitchell/Worthy. Buffalo is picking #60 in R2.

They had Bears picking Worthy.
I don’t like undersized players but Mitchell is touted as a
solid prospect.
Might be better to get Powers Johnson or the Duke lineman which
would really solidify the line.
Possibly Jonny Newton could still be available

Huge draft for Poles.. He gave up Fields for a song and a dance,
he better come up with the right choice. It will be interesting
to see if the the QB competition will truly be open competition
or if the job is handed to the rookie. The fan base is ready for
some winning football. Do the Bears go with the rookie even if
Bagent shows he's taken the next step? Hard to sit a number 1
draft pick, but it's also hard to sit back and watch him develop
while the team as a whole suffers losses..

I have always been a fan of having the QB develop on the bench
(actually practice and coaching, as well as physical maturity).
But it is difficult to do when you only have 4 years of
relatively cheap salary to eat. But I would still have him sit
on the bench this year, other than as a part time fill in, if
Bagent seems to be at all capable. And I found Bagent
impressive in his short stint last year, considering his
background.

I think Bagent is the reason Fields is gone. They saw how fast
he went through his reads and made a decision compared to
Fields.
It was very noticeable.

Caleb Williams is the most ready to start QB in this draft. You
do not sit this guy. He is not a project. You get him
experience and 2025 season goal is deep in playoffs, with Super
Bowl in 2026. This is the new NFL, that is the goal.
