I just saw a crazy mock by ESPNs Mike Tannenbaum.
Everything starts OK with the first 3 picks with the 3 QBs, but
then the Cards take McCarthy at 4, Chargers take Alt, Giants
take Nabers, Titans who need a LT take Latham since Alt is gone,
Falcons of course take Turner and guess who is left?
Odunze...and another guy named Harrison!
Why do the Cards take McCarthy when they have Kyler Murray?
Because they are shipping Murray to the Vikes for the Vikes #11.
Crazy mock, but I like it.

All the talk shows are talking McCarthy taken high.
I’m kind of puzzled since they only had him throw about 8 times
in their big game with Harbaugh outIIRC.

Would definitely want to trade back in that scenario with all 3
pass rushers, very good second tier receivers, the good OT’s and
the DT’s available.

No doubt biggest need right now is DE, but a good GM has to
factor in BPA too as well as adding quality rookies to the
roster.
I think a likley scenario is Odunze is there at 9 but not
Turner. Do the Bears trade down and take possibly a Verse,
Chop Robinson or Latu later in R1 AND get a 2nd/3rd tier WR in
R2?
Only another month of this...
