That’s a pretty good draft especially if Van Pran was available
at that pick but I doubt it.

Combine showed its the draft of Offense.
Looks like big "D" gets drafted in the later rounds.
Fortunately for us the draft where we need WR's & OL is the
draft where they show up at. :D
Possible that the first nine picks are all QB WR OL ?
When's the last time that happened ?
If ever.

I would address defensive line with that 2nd round pick and not
another WR.

More than willing to challenge my biases. Interesting <a

to
pump the brakes on Caleb and trade down.

When it comes to Greg Gabriel and his opinions, we should apply
the "Costanza Principle".

The thing about opinions, especially with the draft, is that
they are all soon forgotten, you know, unless you predict the
Bears taking Mitch Trubisky in the 2017 draft.

That's right who got it right that Halas Hall would take
Trubisky ?
I wanted Jamal Adams in 2017 and he just got cut by Seattle.
Shiit happens. :)

@dpbrugler
The top-5 "Flying 20" times (second half of the 40-yd dash)
among the WRs at the Combine (anything under 1.8 is elite):
1.78 - Brian Thomas Jr.
1.78 - Xavier Leggett
1.79 - Xavier Worthy
1.83 - Troy Franklin
1.83 - Bub Means

Interesting stat but useful is it in a football game? How many
times a season does a receiver run a 40 plus yard pattern?
In fact, I'm beginning to question the 40 dash as much of a
factor for wide receivers. I watched a bit of the combine on
NFLN and saw that they were timing the recievers in a drill
where they were supposed to run across the field in a striaght
line and catch balls alternating from each side. They measured
the player's MPH throughout the drill.
Last year Puca Nacua ran a slow 4.57 in the combine, which was
one of the reasons he was drafted in the 5th round. But he had
one of the fastest MPH times recorded in a game. We've all
heard about track speed not necessasrily translating to game
speed.
It's true!

Yeah I’ll always remember Jerry Rice was too slow at the combine
but had no trouble getting open.
