That should make stringing some wins together in the first half
while fine tuning the offense a little more realistic before
facing a much tougher test down the road.

That's what most people say.
Defenses in the past over played the run. They kept a spy on
Fields to keep him from running and typically blitzed to apply
pressure forcing Fields to stay in the pocket and make quick
decisions.
But think about defenses facing the Bears the first few games
against a Bears team with a new QB, 2 new WRs new HB and new
offensive coordinator.
What do those defenses do facing the new Bears the first few
games?

What JJ would like to see since we are a year away from
credibility is STEELERS revamp with Fields
and beat a surprisingly GREEN BAY also revamped with Love and
STEELERS beating GREEN BAY in Super bowl.
Then JJ can root for Fields. All bases are covered.

This will require, among a number of other things, a
season-ending injury to Patrick Mahomes.

As far as things I would like to see, GB in the Super Bowl is
