As spectacular as Williams skills are, the USC offense relied
on his scrambling and off script plays to the point I wonder how
he’ll adjust to a conventional pocket nfl offense.
Daniels was more comfortable looking in the pocket and really is
accurate. But then look at his receivers.

Very shocking they could only get a 6th round for Fields. Shows
what the league thinks of him....sad....

Yep, I read it too fast:
The Eagles announced on Saturday morning that they have agreed
to terms on a trade to acquire Pickett, the No. 20 overall pick
two years ago, along with a 2024 fourth-round pick (No. 120
overall), in exchange for a 2024 third-round pick (No. 98
overall) and a pair of 2025 seventh-round picks.

A six round pick? WTF? As pointed out, I guess it shows what the
rest of the GM's thought of Fields.. Fields still looked lost at
times...

Pittsburgh traded a conditional 2025 sixth-round draft pick for
Fields. The pick can be as high as a fourth-round selection
based on Fields' playing time.
Thats a giveaway. Ya gotta call a spade a spade.

The Ryan Pace legacy has been sealed as an absolute failure. Two
trades for a no 1 QB and failing both times. Ryan Poles legacy
has yet to be determined (its not great as of yet) and he will
either be gone in two years or signed to a long-term extension.
Too bad he could not get more than a ham sandwich and six-pack
for Fields though, but it seems he wanted to do the kid right,
which carries some weight....

It’s not like a third round pick was going to amount to
anything.
Some of these teams, unless they’re drafting a quarterback, will
probably regret not getting him.

A fascinating takeaway from the Fields trade is that it happened
before USC's Pro Day. Before the Bears' Top 30 visit with
Williams. Before a medical exam.
So, it appears that they were never going to move forward with
Fields. Even if Williams were to fail his physical or have some
pff-the-field issue crop up, they would still go in a non-Fields
direction.
