I am keeping Fields as a backup before I give him away for a 6th
       round pick.

If Poles plan is to trade Fields it’s quickly gone south and
they’ll have to wait it out maybe until after the draft.
       Barkley to the Eagles.

       Who’s left for Fields?

Fields is definitely worth more than a 6th but maybe not much
more right now. Maybe after an injury to another team's starter
or possibly after the draft where some of the QB needy teams
failed to draft one (of many) of the top QBs.
But I would bet that the Bears would keep Fields and trade down
before they would draft Williams to be on the same team with
       Fields.
That locker room would be a mess.

He’s not a Sean Payton quarterback, Vegas has Getsy and they
surely won’t let him stay in division.

Some Offensive Coordinator let Russell Wilson walk for a kings
       ransom for Seattle.
Geez ... if I could just remember the name of that O.C. and
could he do it for another team if he was on another team.
Think we'll ever find out ?

Anthony Herron’s views on the Bears signings.
Byard wasn’t particularly good last year. He’s a better tackler
than Jackson and a different type of player. Last year he may
have been hampered by the players around him.
Swift has the moves and suddenness none of the other backs have.
He’ll take a Herbert 10 yarder for a long gain.
He’s not physical such as on a third and 3 he’ll run out of
       bounds after 2 yards.
Looks like both are modest upgrades for the short term a

Good for him. If the rumors are true, I would rather have
Mooney than Gabe Davis. But Davis choose Jax and Mooney was
never coming back and needed a reset.
Maybe Rome or Malik slips past 8.
