There is no longer a reset at the all-star break. So it is 16
games at a position. If someone is playing a position regularly
and they don't have eligibility it can be appealed.

Betts already has 5 games at 2B, 25% of his total games. Well
beyond pace to reach 16 games.
Petition for Betts 2B eligibility.

Only 4 games started at 2b… having him given 2b eligibility is a
huge advantage. If the rule is 16 games you should have to wait
16 games. Mookie at 2b is literally a top 3 draft pick in a
redraft league while a top 15 if in the of.
To take it a step further dodgers are saying he will come back
from paternity leave to play SS… one should have to wait the
full 16 games to gain that eligibility. Mookie at SS is a #1
overall pick in redraft.

He's played at 2B 5 games per fantrax, which is our source of
truth.
We've always been able to petition for position eligibility,
based on usage in real life. I'm not asking for any special
treatment, nor am I making an outlandish request: it's been well
known since the offseason that Betts was going to play a
significant amount of time at 2B in 2023. That the change alters
his value is true of any player that's ever added additional
positional eligibility, which happens all the time. It makes no
sense to single out or prejudice against Betts.
And I'm not "tak[ing] it a step further". Even though it was
well known that Betts was going to get time at 2B, I didn't ask
for it until a clear pattern was established. If you were so
concerned about how additional position eligibility would impact
his value, you could have tried to trade for him. And I'm *not*
asking for SS eligibility. If he starts a ton there, then yes,
I'll ask for that, too, at the appropriate time, as I am now for
2B.
Your arguments ignore league rules, precedent, and logic; and
seem more aimed at hurting an opposing team than anything else.
