Re: BBFL 2022

Did we ever make changes to the playoffs as we somewhat touched
on at the end of last year? Or are we still sitting with the
top score wins and everyone else is fighting for draft position?
I don't recall seeing a definitive answer.
We are still really early in the season, but rather than having
teams tank I would submit that we do a playoff with 8 teams and
each playoff series is 1 week of games. Could even do 12 teams
so that pretty much everyone would be in the hunt for a playoff
spot.
Thoughts?

Shirtballs have seen enough of Yoshi Tsutsugo, picking up Rowdy
Tellez.

I think most of the big discussions this winter were crowded out
by the major platform change.
With so many changes to the way teams utilize pitchers, as well
as ideas like a playoff system on how to ensure a rewarding
experience all season long, lots for us to talk about this year!

[/quote] tico has it right. We had a number of good ideas to
discuss last winter, but I couldn't get people to vote on things
so we could move on to them. I probably made a mistake waiting
to the season to end before calling for votes.

It’s early enough for us to vote on a playoff proposal isn’t it?
In another month 10 of the 16 teams will be out of the hunt. A
month after that there will be 2-3 teams with a chance to win.
If we put together playoffs with 8 or 12 teams it will give
incentive for most teams to play to win.

Nothing like losing both catchers on the same day…
Old Style DLs Tyler Stephenson and Luis Torrens, and claims Zack
Collins and Yadier Molina.

Greg Holland sent to the minors/DFA by Texas, Glass Onions
release him and sign Brooks Raley TB RP...I don't think that
costs me a waiver.
