When he's not clubbing dongs, per MLB.com, Suzuki has the lowest
chase rate in all of baseball through the first few games of the
season.
It's obviously *very* early, but plate discipline statistics
tend to have value much earlier than most due to how quickly a
hitter gets to a meaningful sample size when considered on a
per-pitch metric.

You never know how a guy will fare against MLB pitching until
they prove it. But with Seiya you know the approach and raw
power will be there. Even if he struggles against elite stuff
he’ll still punish mistakes enough to hit 20-25 HR. He’ll still
draw walks and play a very good RF. Way too early to know if
he’ll be a star but the floor is pretty high.
