Ranger's ace C. J. Wilson to the Cubs?

Make the best offer, and Wilson will come to the Cubs.

Wilson will likely end up in Arizona where they recently made a
big deal out of naming an official state firearm. He and Joe
       Arpaio would get along fine.

Here's the thing, I don't see the Yankee's letting anyone outbid
them for what they want this offseason, and they're going to
       want pitching...

I would love for the Cubs to get CJ Wilson but I think that the
Rangers probably have the inside track.

       If I were king:
I'd pick up Aramis' option. If he stays, which is unlikely,
fine, 3B is covered. If he leaves, we get picks. Win/win.
I'd go after Buehrle. Good stats against NL teams. Good lefty
for the rotation. Keeps him away from the Cardinals. Should be
       a reasonable value.
CJ Wilson...sure. Make an offer. Same with Pujols and Fielder.
Make solid offers, but don't mortgage the farm.
I think it may have been br, but I like the idea of trading bad
contracts for one. Send both Soriano and Zambrano for one bad
contract or two that fit us better. Lackey and ??? Wells?
ARod? Zito? Even if it costs us more in the long run, if it
       improved the team a little...
I'd trade Byrd for pitching. In any trade, Wells and Barney
would be legit add-ons. Not sure about Soto, but I wouldn't
have to be blown away if shipping him helped the team. I'd
trade Marmol. Too many candidates to close: in the minors,
       Cashner, Marshall.
Not sure what to do with Dempster.

Which why it makes me sick that we didn't give Wellington
Castillo a chance to prove himself. We made the same mistake a
couple years ago playing Hill over a young Soto...

Jimmer, I think it is because you have my email address saved.
I've noticed that a little bit too with some of my friend
       suggestions.
BTW, how come you haven't friended me yet, lol?

I had noticed facebook suggesting people that I had previously
emailed years ago as people I may knows. That really creeped me
       out.

the only sure thing about the 2012 world series is the Cubs
       won't be playing in it.
