So little faith in our new GM to be named later.

If he hasn't fired Quade yet, why should I have faith in him?

You have to skip the Dolphin news and go to "Chatter" in the
middle...

I'd think if Hendry was still in charge, he'd have been so happy
to ship Zambrano out if Florida picked up $6 mill. Seems
interesting, though.

I nominate that columnist for the Marlins GM job immediately!

I think the article implied that the Cubs would have to pay 12
million, and Miami the 6 million. I certainly wouldn't take it.

Really?
Really?
From everything we've been hearing/reading, I would be thrilled
if the Cubs could get away with only paying 2/3 of Carlos
Zambrano's salary in a trade, considering everybody knows they
don't want him and the owner's comments that he can't see any
way that Zambrano can play for the Cubs again.

I'd take that so fast your head would spin.

The one exception could be the Marlins. Ozzie's ego might
actually allow the Cub gm to negotiate a little and get a
slightly better deal, and maybe even a player, especially if we
included one. Let's say Z, Byrd, and $9M per for Morrison. Not
sure who would interest the Fish.
The other 28 clubs? They have a greater aversion to cancer.

Isn't their closer to be named later the one in trouble with the
law? Might be a place to get greatest value for both Carloses,
Carlosi?
